Finish Last Layer
Well, here we are. The final few steps of finishing solving the Rubik's cube. I refer to these steps on this page as Finishing the Last Layer, but you may see them as PLL. The way I will teach is known as beginner's PLL as it isn't very effective for speed because it requires a few steps. But, that's besides the point.
STEP 1: Look for Headlights
After correctly orienting all yellow corners of the last face, scan the top layer for headlights. Headlights, in most situations of cubing, is when two corners on a layer, separated by an edge, display the same color. The below picture shows two examples of headlights.

Now scan the cube for cases as such where you can find two corners of the same color, pointing the same direction. You only need to find one. If you find more than one, you need not perform this step or the following, so skip to step 3. However, I would recommend reading the next steps for future solves of the cube.
MAKE SURE when you are looking for headlights, you only move the top layer or the entire cube. You do not want to mess up the oriented yellow corners or your finished bottom layers.
Once you find a pair of headlights, rotate the top layer or the cube until the headlights are in the back. Don't worry if the headlights are separated by an edge of the same color, those still count as headlights. Only the corners matter, not the edges now.
If you have scanned all four sides of the top layer and do not find headlights, don't worry and continue to the next step.
